The Wild Apples of Kazakhstan
Frank Gohlke, Professor of Photography, University of Arizona. In 2013 and 2014 Frank journeyed to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to photograph the remaining wild apple forest in the Ten Shan Mountains. This spot is under threat and in this talk Frank will call attention to the urgency of saving this last precious resource.

Nanna Meyer, Associate Professor of Nutrition, University of Colorado Associate Editor, Local Foodshift MagazineIn 2014, Nanna journeyed to Greenland. In her talk she will address climate change, the Greenland experience and eating sustainably.
